1. Who are vocalscores

vocalscores.co.uk are one of the major providers of digital sheet music for classical singers on the internet. Established in 2001 we are proud that our library of digital sheet music provides a much needed and affordable resource for singers, both amateur and professional. We currently offer many hundreds of compositions and every month we add new titles, new genres and new composers to our already extensive repertoire. Created by professional musicians in association with the leading programmers and graphic designers, VocalScores is dedicated to affordability and quality.

2. I ordered a CD\DVD and it hasn't arrived!

Please email me personally at JohnTrevor@vocalscores.co.uk and I will happily send you a replacement.

3. How do I open the score?

All scores are in PDF format. To open them, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher. If you do not have the latest Adobe Reader, you can download it here for free. Once the Adobe Reader is installed, just click on the score you want to see or print. The Reader will do the rest. We recommend that if you have an older version of Adobe reader, uninstall it before installing a new version.

4. Do the vocalscores files work with both Windows and Mac?

Yes, they work with both Windows and Mac. As the sheet music files are created in PDF format, they are compatible with virtually all operating systems.

5. Is there a limit to how many copies I can print?

Absolutely no limit! You can print as many copies as you like.

6. Can I use vocalscores sheet music for lessons, competitions, festivals and performances?

Yes! No restrictions whatsoever!

7. Can I redistribute the files derived from the VocalScores website?

No. Each score acquired, digitalized and distributed by vocalscores.co.uk, is the sole and exclusive property of vocalscores.co.uk. Each score digitalised by vocalscores.co.uk is protected by copyright and is under the international copyright protection. The vocalscores files are intended for your personal use. It is strictly forbidden to reproduce and/or distribute any digital file downloaded, copied or derived from vocalscores files without the written permission of vocalscores.co.uk.

8. What editions are used?

VocalScores extensive library is based on available out of copyright editions. The compositions we offer, are out of copyright in the United Kingdom. Copyright regulations in different countries may vary. VocalScores editors carefully examine each work and assess their copyright status before adding titles.

9. How will I learn about VocalScores new titles?

We constantly add new titles and genres to our growing catalogue. Please bookmark the vocalscores.co.uk site. You can also subscribe to our mailing list, and we will inform you of any new additions and promotions.

10. What kind of security do you provide?

We are strongly committed to protecting your privacy. Any information you share with us is strictly confidential. vocalscores.co.uk does NOT share, rent, trade or sell personal information to anyone for any reason whatsoever. All credit card information is communicated using the highest possible SSL encryption. VocalScores declare that this Privacy Statement fully conforms to the Online Privacy Alliance regulations.

11. Does VocalScores have a Newsletter?

Not currently, although we may have in the future

12. Is the mailing list "secure"?

Yes! Your e-mail address is kept only for sending you our new product information. We do not collect e-mail addresses for any other purpose. You will NEVER receive SPAM E-MAIL from us.

13. What is PDF file format?

PDF file (Portable Document Format) is a high quality graphic format created by Adobe Systems in order to have a single standard graphic file for all operating systems (WindowsTM, MacintoshTM, UnixTM and others).

14. How do I open PDF files?

You must have the version 5.0 or higher of the Adobe Reader program (downloadable for free directly from the Adobe site) in order to view and print PDF documents.

15. The print-outs aren't as clear as on the screen. How do I fix this?

If you use a ink jet printer, try to clean the print heads (refer to your printer manual for the correct cleaning procedure). A dirty print head can give you bad printing quality.

16. What payment methods are available?

VocalScores accepts payment using all major credit/debit cards: (Visa, Delta, Electron, Mastercard, Eurocard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Solo.), through Secure Online Payment via PayPal®.

Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).

17. How will my purchase get charged to my credit/debit card or account?

VocalScores currently utilises PayPal® Payflow gateway service for its own credit/debit card as well for regular PayPal® transactions. You will see a charge by 'PAYPAL' for all PayPal® transactions on your credit/debit card statement.

18. What kind of support does VocalScores offer?

VocalScores provides complete customer support, regardless of whether sheet music has been purchased or not.
